Alexis Musgrove, M.Ed, MS has eleven years of experience in Education Administration and Counseling. She also has seven years of expertise in economic development and extensive experience with program development, strategic planning and budgeting. Currently, she holds a position as High School Guidance Counselor with the School District of Philadelphia. In the past, Alexis has served as the Interim Executive Director of the Cobbs Creek Environmental Center. She also has served as Assistant Director in an Economic Development program with University of Pennsylvania and the Salvation Army. Prior to that position, she served as Chief of Staff with the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and the Senate of Pennsylvania. Alexis’ passion is to empower youth and provide them with opportunities to excel in education. She works diligently to prepare youth for post secondary education and fulfilling careers.
Alexis is married to John Musgrove and they have three wonderful children, one son, Javonn and two daughters, Kendall and London.

Cyrene O. High, MPH is a highly accomplished business and clinical leader with extensive experience managing operational, clinical, and administrative services. She has eight years of executive healthcare management experience, and extensive knowledge in strategic planning. Post college, Cyrene became an Americorp member in the Chicago Health Corp. where she implemented various teen education programs which sparked her interest in the healthcare field. Her interest in public health and education is the driving force behind incorporating the health education component in PE2AC, Inc. The current program known as TeenScene, Inc., which focuses on youth between the ages of 11 and 19, was developed by Dr. Monica Whitmore (Board Member of PE2AC, Inc.) and Cyrene High. TeenScene, Inc., began as a program that educated adolescents and young adults on issues regarding sex related topics. It has since evolved into a program that addresses the multiple challenges that teenagers face in everyday life.
Cyrene is married to Derrick High and they have two wonderful children, one son Caleb and one daughter Casai.
John Musgrove, MBA, CFA, CPA
Started as an accountant and earned the CPA designation. For 18-years, John has worked in commercial real estate acquiring over $2 billion of income producing assets on behalf of institutional clients. John currently rates investment securities that are secured by loans on commercial real estate. John has an MBA in Investments, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, CPA and will, this year, earn a MS in Real Estate Development and Investments at NYU
Dr. Monica Mallory-Whitmore is a Board Certified Family Practice physician. She is the proud mother of four beautiful children and a loving wife of 20 years. Dr. Whitmore has practiced medicine for the past 15 years. Upon completing her residency program, she took a position with the Greater Philadelphia Health Action (GPHA) where she has worked for the past 12 years. While working at GPHA, she has held various positions and currently serves as the Chief Clinical Officer. She enjoys the practice of family medicine because it allows her to connect with patients of various ages. She is particularly fond of her pediatric patients as she finds fulfillment in helping to shape their views of the world and the endless possibilities of their futures. Dr. Whitmore also greatly enjoys spending time with her family and being an active participant in shaping the future of her own children’s lives. She is honored to be affiliated with an organization like Pe2ac and just as proud of the work that it does. It is for these reasons that Dr. Whitmore has been a board member of Pe2ac since its inception. Pe2ac has done many wonder things for its community and she is enthusiastic about the many great things to come.
